Result 10 - Supportive policy and legislation for sustainable forest conservation in place

10.1 The project will identify relevant policies related to forest conservation and management such as land policy, Mine, Agriculture, Wildlife, Water, etc. and review them by December 1999.
10.2 The project will prepare proposals of the above mentioned policies and submit to MNRT by March 2000.
10.3 Project staff will participate in forest ordinance revision process through attending workshops and seminars by December, 1999. The project will contribute to the ongoing revision of forest ordinance by holding a one day workshop for brain storming and prepare and submit proposal and recommendation by March, 1999.
